We are delighted to announce the revival of the IAPL Procedural Reporter, breathing new life into a quarterly newsletter that initially commenced in 1983 under the editorship of Professor Marcel Storme, at that time, the Executive Secretary General of the Association, under the presidency of Professor Mauro Cappelletti. The IAPL Procedural Reporter will once again become your go-to source for updates and information about our Association and related national procedural law organizations.
This issue of the IAPL Procedural Reporter presents forthcoming initiatives and recent developments within the International Association of Procedural Law. It announces the 2026 IAPL Post-Doctoral Summer School in Lucca on Re-Shaping Civil Justice: Towards a Justice with a Human Face and the 2026 IAPL Colloquium in Paris devoted to Judicial Dialogue and the Role of Precedent in Environmental Justice. The issue also reports on significant academic activities involving IAPL members worldwide, highlights recent publications in procedural law, and provides updates on Association news, including new memberships and messages from the Secretariat.
